PENGARUH POSISI BUAH JERUK TERHADAP SERAPAN HARA DI DAUN DAN KUALITAS BUAHNYA

Abstract

Cahaya sangat berpengaruh terhadap terbentuknya warna pada kulit jeruk. Buah yang terekspos cahaya cukup, umumnya akan berwarna lebih cerah dibandingkan lainnya yang berada dalam kanopi tanaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh posisi buah pada tanaman jeruk varietas keprok Terigas terhadap serapan hara makro pada daun-daun yang menunjang pertumbuhan buah, kualitas buah, serta hubungan antara keduanya. Penelitian dilakukan di KP Tlekung pada bulan Juni sampai dengan Desember 2021. Contoh buah diambil dari tanaman bagian arah Barat dan Timur di kanopi atas dan bawah tanaman. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah RAK dengan tiga ulangan dan setiap unit contohnya adalah 5 buah pada 2 pohon. Buah dipanen setelah masak fisiologis, dan daun yang menyangga buah contoh dianalisa kandungan hara P, K, Ca, Zn dan B. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa posisi daun tidak berpengaruh terhadap serapan hara makro P, K, Ca, dan Zn, kecuali pada serapan unsur hara B. Kadar unsur hara B secara nyata tertinggi pada posisi daun di sekitar buah yang letaknya pada sebelah Barat kanopi bagian atas. Secara keseluruhan bagian Timur dan bagian kanopi bawah rata-rata mempunyai kandungan hara relatif lebih tinggi. Posisi buah tidak berpengaruh terhadap kualitasnya. Secara umum, buah yang berada di atas mempunyai kadar total asam terlarut sedikit lebih tinggi dibandingkan yang di bawah serta kadar brix dan vit. C yang lebih rendah, masing-masing 4.4% dan 8.6%. Terdapat hubungan yang positif antara kandungan hara Zn di daun dengan kadar brix pada buah, yaitu TSS = 7.84 + 0.0350 Zn (p<0.05).
