RESPONS PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL TANAMAN JAGUNG MANIS PADA BERBAGAI SUMBER HARA N

Abstract

Penelitian untuk mengetahui respons tanaman jagung manis pada berbagai sumber unsur hara N dilakukan di Wonorejo, Poncokusumo, Malang pada bulan Februari sampai April 2022. Penelitian menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok faktorial yang terdiri atas dua faktor dan diulang tiga kali. Faktor pertama ialah pupuk N anorganik, terdiri dari: 100%, 75%,dan 50% N anorganik. Faktor kedua ialah pupuk organik, terdiri dari: 10 t ha-1 pupuk kandang, 20 t ha-1 pupuk kandang, 10 t ha-1 pupuk kandang + 10 ml l-1 PGPR, dan 20 t ha-1 pupuk kandang + 10 ml l-1 PGPR. Pengamatan peubah pertumbuhan meliputi tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, dan indeks luas daun tanaman jagung. Sedangkan pengamatan peubah hasil meliputi bobot segar, panjang dan diameter tongkol. Hasil penelitian tidak menunjukan interaksi nyata antara pupuk N anorganik dan pupuk organik terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil jagung manis. Pengurangan dosis pupuk N anorganik sebesar 25% menunjukkan pertumbuhan dan hasil jagung manis yang tidak berbeda dengan dosis pupuk N anorganik 100%. Aplikasi pupuk kandang disertai dengan PGPR menghasilkan tongkol jagung manis lebih tinggi daripada yang hanya diberi pupuk kandang.
